The notion to commence Gabriel Memorial Medical Center (GMMC) was first initiated in January 2022 after the dismay of son Gabriel Kato who rested on 20th December 2021 having been named by Laurie Coykendall our RWOEI board advisor GMMC was planned and thought about to have the legacy of this young twin continue, Jolly (his mum and an experienced public health transformative and prolife minded woman) was sent to Mayanja Memorial training school with support from Walter and Bonita through Western Washington coalition for life (WWCFL) to do her diploma in midwifery to help and support the establishment of this great memorial center that will be a center of life for the un born and the pregnant mothers who are at a risk of abortion. As prolife leaders we have the compelling enthusiasm to foster Gabriel Memorial Medical Center Vision based on a close reflection to having absence of prolife message based services and challenges faced in our peasantry communities in Kasese district manifesting in terms of; Inefficient Quality Medical and drug dispensation Care Management systems, inaccessibility to reliable Health Care Diagnostic services to inform appropriate medical prescriptions, poor nutrition gaps. Additionally, lack of ; affordable and accessible healthcare services, community healthcare education on communicable and non-communicable diseases, home based sanitation and hygiene, nutrition support, HIV/ AIDS, Anti natal, neonatal and post natal care services , maternal child health support awareness and advocacy initiatives. More so the initiation of GMMC was further affirmed after critically scanning with confirmed evidence-based findings of the persistent but reversible prevalent community abortion activities, community ill-hygienic environment, attitude-based norms, livelihood development challenges and nutrition/food security gaps as being faced in Kasese District and Uganda at large. Therefore in a bid to addressing the above challenges purposed to submission of this concept paper, Gabriel Memorial Medical Center sought of an enhanced appeal for enough resources to tackle the above fundamental approaches with remedy-based actions not limited to; Medical attention promotion, facility-based and Outreach diagnostic services, institution of GMMC and Nutrition care services especially to children under 5 and adolescent health care-friendly services which unfolds teenage pregnant and lactating mothers’ challenges. All the above intervention aspects are embedded under Gabriel Memorial Medical center health’s complementary and interlinked precedents prevailing in our Rwenzori and urban communities. Hence formation and emergence of Gabriel Memorial Medical Center.

Gabriel Memorial Medical Center (GMMC) will be located on Katadoba trading center, Nyakabingo 2, Central Division, Kasese Municipality, Kasese District Uganda.
